Enhance your team’s synergy with our workshop ‘Pouring Perfection’ while the participants work on their very own cup collection. This class introduces you to the slip casting process, as you can craft two identical cups using liquid clay. Next glaze two additional pieces, giving participants the chance to apply their own colors and finishes. This step allows for personal expression and creativity, where you can experiment with different glazing techniques that suit your style and preferences.
We maintain a comfortable and informal environment, encouraging creativity and fun while you learn. It's a perfect setting for team members to connect, share ideas, and support each other. This common creative experience not only enhances team dynamics but also provides a fun and rewarding way to build stronger relationships among colleagues while they learn and create beautiful, functional pottery together.
Techniques involved:
Slip casting - pouring liquid clay, known as slip, into plaster molds to create precise and uniform ceramic pieces. This technique is excellent for making identical items, like the cups that the participants will create.
Glazing session - participants will personalize two prefired pieces using a diverse range of colors and finishes.
During the Workshop You are:
introduced to the basics of pottery,
comprehending the process of firing,
getting familiar with various form-building techniques,
learning different painting and glazing methods,
slip-casting two cups,
painting two cups with the look of your choice,
altogether making 3 cups OR 2 cups and 1 vase.
